How osteopaths work with adults

Osteopaths understand how the body works and how to help release tension, pain, and increase general mobility. Using a range of techniques, osteopaths develop action plans for long-term health conditions, physical disabilities, mobility and pain management.

Initial consultation and assessment

Osteopaths work with individuals to address concerns, listen to how you run your life, ask questions, and assess your needs. Consultations can take between 30-90minutes, but this will be determined by your osteopath or clinic and should be confirmed at the time of booking.

Further clinical care

If further clinical care is needed, your osteopath will take the time to explain these to you. Your osteopath will also consider factors in your life and broader health that might need attention from other health professionals.
