Our members must be registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), a government body that maintains the national register of health practitioners in Australia. Ahpra’s role is to protect the public, and sets standards and policies that all registered health practitioners must meet.
This website explains how osteopaths may be able to help you with your pain or injury, and how osteopathy may help you to improve your personal health and wellbeing.
It provides information about what you can expect from osteopathic care in Australia, and helps you to understand the evidence that sits behind the treatments and techniques that osteopaths use so that you can make informed choices about your healthcare.
You’ll also find useful resources for you to learn more about the root cause of your pain or injury, and how health professionals may be able to support you to manage your life to work, rest and play better.
This is where your journey to a better healthier you begins.
For more information, contact Osteopathy Australia via email [email protected] or telephone 02 9410 0099. Our office is open Monday to Friday, from 9am to 5pm AEST.
