Women’s health and osteopathy: What you need to know this Women’s Health Week

Women’s health and osteopathy: What you need to know this Women’s Health Week

August 18, 2024

From 2 – 8 September 2024, we celebrate Women’s Health Week, a nationwide initiative dedicated to promoting awareness and providing resources for women’s health. This week is filled with valuable information and events designed to support women across Australia in their health journeys. Click here for more information about the week.

Throughout Women’s Health Week, we’ll be highlighting daily themes that explore how osteopathy may support women at various stages of life. Each day, we’ll focus on a different aspect of women’s health and how osteopathy might support you and your overall wellbeing. Osteopaths can help to identify musculoskeletal issues, postural imbalances and areas of discomfort through thorough assessments and provide some support with a variety of health concerns, including discomfort during pregnancy, symptoms of endometriosis, pelvic floor issues and experiences related to menopause.

This Women’s Health Week, consider taking steps to prioritise your health. Whether it’s scheduling a consultation with an osteopath or becoming more aware of your body’s needs, every step you take is an investment in your wellbeing.
